to Launceston, arriving before 12.40 p.m. Be welcomed on arrival and
transferred to your hotel, then visit Cataract Gorge. Enjoy our Freedom of
Choice Touring. Choose from Platypus House or Seahorse World. Tonight, enjoy

Day 2 Wed. Wildlife Park, Freycinet National Park. During lavender
flowering season (Dec.-Jan.), visit Bridestowe Lavender Farm to admire the
picturesque purple-hued fields. Continue to East Coast Natureworld to see and
learn more about many of Australias unique native animals, including the
infamous Tasmanian Devil. In beautiful Freycinet National Park, we take a
guided walk along Cape Tourville. Joined by our naturalist guide, admire the
dramatic coastal scenery of Tasmanias stunning east coast. Arrive at the
world-renowned Freycinet Lodge and take time to relax in this
environmentally-friendly resort with stunning views of the surrounding National

Day 3 Thur. Tasman Peninsula, Port Arthur Historic Site, Crayfeast. Back
on board your coach, traverse the Wielangta Forest Drive. View the spectacular
Tasman Peninsula, including Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen and Tessellated
Pavement. Arriving at Port Arthur Historic Site, join a cruise on Mason Cove.
Spend time exploring the Port Arthur Historic Site. Take the opportunity to
play the Lottery of Life game or stroll around the colourful
gardens. Later, savour the flavours of a Tasmanian speciality a
delicious crayfish dinner (fresh seafood outside cray season). Port Arthur,

Day 4 Fri. Richmond, Hobart, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around
Dinner. This morning, visit the historic town of Richmond, to see the
convict-built bridge and the quaint village buildings. Enjoy our Freedom of
Choice Touring in Hobart. Visit Cadburys Chocolate Factory,
Cascade Brewery (seasonal closures occur) or enjoy a locally guided historical
walking tour of Hobart. Later, visit the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.
This evening, enjoy the freedom of our Dine Around Dinner. Choose to dine at
The Cove, the Drunken Admiral or take a Hobart Historical Pub Tour and

Day 5 Sat. Salamanca Place, Tahune AirWalk. Stroll through Salamanca
Place and explore the colorful stalls at the Salamanca Markets at your
leisure. This afternoon travel to the picturesque Huon Valley. Visit the Forest
and Heritage Centre and join a guided walk among the tree tops on the Tahune
AirWalk. Return to Hobart and ascend Mt Nelson for fabulous views. Bx1
Day 6 Sun. Russell Falls, World Heritage Lake St Clair, West Coast
Wilderness Railway. Follow the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park,
where a short walk brings us to stunning Russell Falls. Experience tranquillity
as you let the sound of rushing water and forest scents permeate your senses.
Enter the awe-inspiring forests of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area
to Lake St Clair. Relax and admire views of the nations deepest lake
before continuing to Queenstown. Join the restored West Coast Wilderness
Railway and ride aboard elegant brass and timber carriages as they travel
through the forest. Tonight, enjoy views over Strahan's beautiful harbour while

Day 7 Mon. World Heritage Wilderness, Gordon River Cruise, Dine Around

Boarding the Lady Jane Franklin II, join a cruise along the mighty Gordon River
with guaranteed window seating. Experience the majesty of this place, stopping
at Heritage Landing for a walk through ancient rainforest. Visit the infamous
penal colony of Sarah Island. This afternoon, explore the picturesque town of
Strahan, then dine at either the View 42º or at Hamer's Hotel. Later, you

Day 8 Tue. Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Journey to Cradle Mountain and with a local guide, travel to Dove Lake. Visit

Sample some of Tasmanias finest wines and cheeses; take a guided
alpine flora and fauna walk; join a Night Spotlight Tour in search of wildlife

majestic coastline, Woolnorth is the states largest wind farm. At nearby
Cape Grim, breathe in the cleanest air in the world and then enjoy afternoon

Day 10 Thur. Sheffield Murals, Ashgrove Cheese Factory, Woolmers Estate.
We head into Devonport and then continue on to Sheffield. Free time allows us
to explore this quaint town where over 30 murals have been painted on many of
the buildings walls. This afternoon, sample more of Tasmanias tasty
gourmet foods with a tour and tasting at Ashgrove Cheese Factory. Ashgrove uses
traditional recipes and techniques to produce superior handmade cheeses. Later,
take a fully guided tour of historic Woolmers Estate and stroll through the
National Rose Garden. Enjoy a free evening in Launceston to explore the

Day 11 Fri. Historic Ross, Farewell Dinner. This morning we travel
around the Great Lake and over the Great Western Tiers to historic Ross. View
