Package
Day 1. Sea Lion Guided Beach Walk, Koalas, Kangaroos, Unique Birdlife. Arrive
on Kangaroo Island at 10.00 a.m. by air, where you will be met by your guide.
As you travel the island watch for wildlife and wildflowers along the roadside.
At Seal Bay, your guide will escort you on a walk along the beach, home to a
colony of rare Australian sea lions. Watch as they bask on the shoreline. Hear
these fascinating large mammals interact with each other and watch them at
play. Enjoy a gourmet-style lunch in our own exclusive and secluded bush
location, followed by a bushwalk. There is a great opportunity to see some of
the 250 species of birds that inhabit the island. By special permit, enter the
beautiful Lathami Conservation Park. In the late afternoon, watch as wild
kangaroos and Tammar wallabies move out into the open to graze on the fields of
the north coast. Stay at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat, located at the
western end of the island close to the Flinders Chase National Park one of the
oldest national parks in South Australia. Lx1
Day 2. Depart Kangaroo Island. Enjoy some time at leisure this morning to
further explore your picturesque surrounds or relax. At approximately 9.00
a.m., transfer to the airport at Kingscote for your flight to Adelaide, your
return trip back to mainland Australia.

How to get to Kangaroo Island: It is connected to the mainland by either
aircraft from Adelaide or by ferry from Cape Jervis with a coach connection
from Adelaide. As part of our packages we do offer a choice of either
transportation or a combination of both. Some tours may not be available with a
ferry connection.
Flights We use and recommend Rex Air (REX=ZL) that have regular connecting
flights from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island. All our tours are tailored to
accommodate their morning and evening flight connections.
