Day 1. Arrive Auckland. Welcome to New Zealand. You will be met at Auckland
airport by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Two Night Stay:
Auckland, Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 2. Auckland, FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING. This afternoon, choose the activity
and we will include it! Choose from a trip to the top of the Sky Tower, a
cruise on Waitemata Harbour, a walk through a rain forest, a half day
sightseeing tour of Auckland, a visit to Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World, a
reflexology treatment or a visit to the Maritime or Auckland Museum. Bx1 Dx1
Day 3. Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua. We travel south to Waitomo Limestone Caves
to enjoy a tour of the incredible glow worm grotto, before continuing to the
geothermal city of Rotorua. Tonight is a unique experience as we enjoy a Maori
Hangi (feast) and cultural performance of song and dance. Two Night Stay:
Rotorua, Millennium Hotel Bx1 Dx1
Day 4. Rotorua, FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING. You choose the activity and we will
include it. You may like to soak in a thermal mineral pool at the Polynesian
Spa, there is even an opportunity to see the Must See Three
activities of Rotorua, at the Agrodome enjoy a sheep show and shearing display,
visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve and view boiling mud pools and exploding geysers,
at Rainbow Springs experience native flora and fauna and view New
Zealands endangered kiwi bird. Country Homestay option is available

Day 5. Rotorua, Wellington. Today we journey south and view Wairakei Steam
Valley, a unique and fascinating geothermal power project, see Lake Taupo,
Australasia's largest lake which was formed by a massive volcanic eruption over
5,000 years ago. Cross the vast World Heritage listed volcanic plateau of
Tongariro National Park with its stunning scenery, to the capital city of
Wellington. Stay: Wellington, Hotel InterContinental. Bx1 Dx1
Day 6. Wellington, Nelson, DINE AROUND DINNER. Our Interislander cruise takes
us across Cook Strait to the South Island. In Picton we rejoin our coach and
travel through the pretty orchard region of Marlborough to Nelson. Tonight you
may choose from two fine restaurants located within your hotel. Miyazu,
acclaimed as the best Japanese Restaurant in New Zealand, or Oceano, with its
seafood menu. Stay: Nelson, The Rutherford Hotel. Bx1 Dx1
Day 7. Nelson, Franz Josef. Follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West
Coast and view the fascinating Pancake rock formations and blowholes at
Punakaiki. Continue into Westland National Park and see the magnificent
glaciers. Nowhere in the world are glaciers as accessible as here. There may be
an opportunity to enjoy a scenic flight over this breathtaking region (own
expense, weather permitting). This evening enjoy West Coast hospitality as you
dine on regional specialities. Stay: Franz Josef Glacier Hotel. Bx1 Dx1
Day 8. Franz Josef, Wanaka. View incredible scenery today as we leave this
World Heritage,listed area, traveling through Haast Pass and over the
incredible Southern Alps. Continue to Wanaka, originally settled in the
goldrush era and surrounded by Mt Aspiring National Park. Stay: Wanaka,
Edgewater Resort. Bx1 Dx1
Day 9. Wanaka, Queenstown, DINE AROUND DINNER. Depart Wanaka this morning and
journey to the delightful village of Arrowtown, an old goldrush settlement and
discover its rich history. Journey to the alpine resort of Queenstown, the
adventure capital of New Zealand, situated on the banks of Lake Wakatipu.
Tonight we explore Queenstown further with our Dine Around Dinner. Choose from
a range of restaurants. Two Night Stay: Queenstown, Hotel Sofitel. Bx1 Dx1
Day 10. Queenstown, FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING. Today you choose the activity
and we will include it! Perhaps enjoy a guided tour of local gardens or
wineries, join a thrilling jetboat ride down the Shotover River, take a Double
Decker bus tour, enjoy a lakeshore and forest walk, experience a 4WD
Safari of the Scenes tour, explore Skippers Canyon or Mt Aspiring

Day 11. Milford Sound, Te Anau. Today, travel to Milford Sound and board the
Milford Mariner. Milford Sound is one of New Zealand's most famous waterways
and runs nine miles inland from the Tasman Sea and is surrounded by sheer rock
faces that rise 3,900 feet or more on either side. Lush rain forest clings
precariously to these cliffs, while seals, penguins and dolphins frequent the
waters. Journey the length of this ancient fiord, sailing below mile,high Mitre
Peak and watch for elusive wildlife. This afternoon we take a relaxing journey
to the scenic town of Te Anau, nestled on the edge of Lake Te Anau and
surrounded by mountains. Stay: Te Anau Hotel and Villas. Bx1 Dx1
Day 12. Dunedin, FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING. Today we journey to the
southern,most coast of New Zealand and continue to Dunedin. Called the
Edinburgh of the South for its strong Scottish heritage, Dunedin is
a great place for haggis and all things Scotland. On arrival you choose your
touring activity. Perhaps visit historical Olveston House, or Speight's
Brewery. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the rare Yellow,eyed Penguin or
Royal Albatross colonies on the Otago Peninsula and discover their unique
habitats. Stay: Dunedin, Southern Cross Hotel. Bx1 Dx1
Day 13. Dunedin, Mt Cook. Travel north along the coast to view the unique
Moeraki Beach boulders, almost perfect spheres of rock that nestle like eggs
into the sand on the coastline. Continue to Mt Cook National Park, a World
Heritage listed area. You may wish to take an optional scenic flight over this
alpine region (weather permitting, own expense) and get a bird's eye
perspective. This evening stay at the iconic Hermitage at Mt Cook, with views
of New Zealand's highest mountain. Stay: Mt Cook, The Hermitage. Bx1 Dx1
Day 14. Mt Cook, Christchurch, DINE AROUND DINNER. This morning we visit the
beautiful glacier fed lake of Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good
Shepherd. Built in 1935 as a memorial to the pioneers of the Mackenzie Country,
the Church of the Good Shepherd is dwarfed by the surrounding mountains and its
backdrop is the perfect place for stunning photography. We travel through
Burkes Pass to the plains of Canterbury. On the way to Christchurch, you may
choose to take the scenic TranzAlpine Train from Arthurs Pass. Enjoy the
stunning scenery aboard this renowned journey as you travel through gorges and
river valleys. Alternatively continue with the coach through the Rakaia Gorge
to Christchurch, New Zealand's Garden City. This evening choose from three
restaurants at your hotel. Stay: Christchurch, Crowne Plaza Hotel. Bx1 Dx1
Day 15. Christchurch, FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING. You choose the activity and we
