Day 1 Arrive Auckland (30km) Meeting service and pick up your car at the
airport depot and drive to your hotel for the night. Overnight: Cotter House

Day 2 Auckland/Rotorua (200km) B Drive directly to Rotorua. On arrival,
explore the major sights and attractions in Rotorua. Entrance fees are included
to Te Puia Thermal Reserve, Agrodome Sheep Show and the native garden setting
of Rainbow Springs. Overnight: The Springs

Day 3 Rotorua/Napier (215km) B You may wish to stay on in Rotorua to
explore more of the sightseeing and attractions or head on to Lake Taupo (New
Zealand's largest lake). In the Lake Taupo area you might want to see the
silica terraces, take a jet boat ride or even try some trout fishing. Travel on
to Napier. Overnight: The County Hotel

Day 4 Napier B L Explore the parks and gardens of Napier and enjoy lunch
at one of Hawke's Bays famous wineries. Overnight: The County Hotel

Day 5 Napier/Gisborne (215km) B Today drive north up the Pacific Coast
Highway. Follow the sweeping coastline into the city of Gisborne. Overnight:
Knapdale Eco-Lodge

Day 6 Gisborne/Tauranga (485km) B Following the coastal road, drive
around the East Cape today. Eastland is renowned for its scenic coastal beauty
and a stunning hinterland with lakes, ranges, rainforests and rolling farmland.
Continue on to the port city of Tauranga. Overnight: Charlemagne Lodge

Day 7 Tauranga/Coromandel (170km) B Drive north to Katikati and the
beautiful coastal beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula. Time today to explore
the bush and beaches of the Coromandel. Overnight: Brenton Lodge

Day 8 Coromandel/Auckland (160km) B More time to enjoy the Coromandel
region before driving back up the Seabird Coast to Clevedon and Auckland. The
tour concludes with returning your rental car to the city or airport depot.
